The Toshiba BX420T is an industrial thermal transfer label printer with a flathead print head, built on the same renowned hardware as its outstanding predecessor and equipped with the revolutionary A-BRID operating system running on a powerful dual-core CPU. The BX420T has been specially designed for businesses upgrading from legacy printers, offering seamless integration into existing systems, automatic media width detection and centred media alignment. What makes this printer special?

The A-BRID operating system combines a real-time operating system and a Linux operating system on a single dual-core CPU. PDFs are printed in real time with automatic rotation and scaling, whilst auto-emulation automatically detects the printer language — ideal for replacing legacy systems without any disruption to operations. The web interface eliminates the need for separate software, and embedded apps enable stand-alone printing. Diagnostics, updates and fleet management are carried out remotely via e-BRIDGE CloudConnect. Printers can be easily cloned for rapid roll-out of device configurations.
