The Challenge

Floricultura, a global leader in orchid cultivation, faced a costly and practical issue: labels would fall out of trays during transport. As a result, important data was lost and trays could no longer be linked to the correct batches or locations. This caused delays and uncertainty in their growing process.

The Request

Floricultura needed a label solution that:

  • Stays firmly in the tray during movement
  • Keeps data secure and readable at all times
  • Is compatible with their existing printers

The Solution

We co-developed a custom plant tag that:

  • Fits securely in propagation trays
  • Can be delivered pre-printed or blank
  • Is resistant to moisture and UV exposure

The Result ​

The labels stay firmly in place during both transport and storage. This allows Floricultura to maintain a reliable track & trace connection between each tray and its batch in the system. As a result, internal traceability has improved significantly and the risk of data loss has been minimized.
