What are Tyvek wristbands?
Tyvek is a unique material that combines the properties of paper and plastic. It is lightweight, water-resistant and tear-resistant under normal use. Tyvek wristbands are the most widely used festival wristbands for single-day events thanks to their low cost, quick production and reliable tamper-evident closure.
Advantages of Tyvek wristbands
- Full-colour printing: Your logo, event name or corporate identity is displayed clearly and vividly on every wristband.
- Fraud-resistant closure: The closure is fitted with a fraud-prevention perforation, allowing the band to be easily sealed, but it cannot be removed without causing visible damage. This ensures that the bands are not reused.
- Water-resistant and tear-resistant: Tyvek is resistant to moisture and does not tear under normal use, even in the rain or during heavy use at an event.
- Easy to use: for small quantities, the bands come in sheets of ten that are easy to separate. For orders of more than 1,000 pieces, they come on a roll in a handy dispenser box.

Good to know about the printing
Tyvek has a slightly irregular fiber structure. As a result, the printing may be less uniform and fine details may be lost. Especially very detailed logos, thin lines, small texts, and subtle color gradients may become less sharp or less readable, even when they are clearly visible on a screen.
Choose a simple design with clear lines, sufficiently large letters, and a strong color contrast for the best result. Keep in mind that the texture of the Tyvek may remain visible in the printing.
