Inside/Outside Sales Account Manager

The Inside/Outside Sales Account Manager is a key figure within our sales and relationship management team, responsible for managing and developing existing customer relationships and driving revenue growth. This role requires a proactive and results-driven professional who is able to communicate effectively, understand customer needs, and provide solutions that meet those needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Account Management: Building and maintaining long-term relationships with assigned customers through regular contact, understanding their needs, and offering solutions to meet them.
  2. Sales Strategy: Developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue and achieve targets, in close collaboration with the sales support team and management.
  3. Quotation Management: Preparing and sending quotations to customers, taking into account pricing levels, discounts, and specific customer requirements.
  4. Product Knowledge: Developing in-depth knowledge of VanDerEng's products and services in order to advise customers expertly on suitable solutions.
  5. Understanding Customer Needs: Actively listening to customer requirements and translating these into appropriate product recommendations to increase customer satisfaction.
  6. Market Insight: Staying up to date with market developments, competition, and trends in order to make strategic adjustments to the sales approach.
  7. Sales Support: Collaborating with the sales support team to identify and follow up on leads and opportunities, and to share information to maximise sales potential.
  8. Reporting: Tracking sales activities, preparing reports, and sharing relevant information with management.
  9. Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Sales Support, Product Development, and Production to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • MBO4 level of work and thinking in a relevant field is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commercial acumen and a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Customer-focused and commercial mindset with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Odoo.
  • Experience within the labelling industry is a plus.
  • An existing network within the markets in which VanDerEng operates is a plus.

The Inside/Outside Sales Account Manager plays a crucial role in retaining and expanding customer relationships and achieving sales objectives.
